During the dead of night, I witnessed a group of people doing construction inside the Kemner home. 

This was a little before Alex Kemner passed away back in 2010. I would assume it was to dodge a building permit. You kind of need a permit so that the property taxes can be reassessed. But there you have it. New windows we installed and the front bedroom and other rooms we renovated without notification to the local county assessors.
